The rv panel for your electric vehicle’s battery may soon go on sale.
A new $100 price tag and a new, much smaller and more compact version of the panel are being offered on Tesla’s website.
Tesla’s website says the panels will have a total output of 600W and will be manufactured at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Nevada.
The panels will also feature a 3-year limited warranty and a 60-day money back guarantee, as well as Tesla’s “Power Pack”, which includes a power adapter for the vehicle and a plug-in battery pack.
The Power Pack features a 120V battery pack, which is able to deliver up to 200 miles per charge and a charge time of 90 minutes.
The rv battery pack will include an 80-amp charger, and the Power Pack will also include a 6.5-amp DC charger, which allows the vehicle to charge an additional 100 to 150 miles per day.
The new rv batteries will be produced in the same way that Tesla uses its own batteries for its Model S electric sedan, as the company says they’ll be made from the same lithium ion polymer material used in the batteries of the Model 3 sedan.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said last month that the company would soon unveil a version of its batteries that would include more advanced manufacturing processes, including carbon nanotubes.
The panel is currently the only rv pack available in the U.S. and it will be sold starting in late 2018.
